Open Forum: How Many Really Understand Thermal Printing? Not Many! We have all had this experience. Bring up thermal printing and the reactions very from: What’s that? Does it still exist? Why would anyone use it? You mean thermal inkjet? And so on.
The fact is, most people have no idea that thermal printing touches their lives in so many ways every day. The unique characteristics and benefits of this technology have resulted in an industry with $30 billion plus in global annual revenues.
Even more surprising is that so many in the supply chain who sell the technology and end users who depend on it don’t fully understand its capabilities. This often leads to “losing out” to other, less suitable printing technologies for certain applications or not capitalizing on all the potential benefits.
Open Forum Goals:
- Generate Ideas on How Thermal Printing Industry can “Educate The World”
about Thermal Printing & its Benefits- Develop an Action Plan
